Dr Rehana Khan

Head Teacher. Rehana has previously taught Biology for twenty-three years at Maru-A-Pula. She is passionate about Science Education, Mosquitoes, Botswana and her family. Rehana discovered a new species of Mosquito in Kasane which she named after Sir Seretse Khama. Rehana is a keen cook and gardener who loves cultivating roses.

Mr Michael Eisen Mrs Elizabeth Beck Mrs Thelma Chiweshe

Deputy Headteacher. Michael has taught Chemistry and Junior Science for five years. He is passionate about sports and loves chocolate cake.

Occupational Therapist. Liz has introduced gross-motor and co-ordination programmes for the pupils in Reception and Std 1. She enjoys her involvement with the 'Weavers' House and is their Number One supporter. Liz has introduced Cookery and Fit For Life as extra-murals.

Standard Six Teacher. Thelma is a wife, mummy, teacher, aspiring writer, sports fan, eternal student, traveller, sister, daughter and friend. Thelma enjoys basketball and tries to stay healthy. She loves life and her life has never been boring or lacking. It has been full of interesting experiences and lessons. Thelma loves to try new things.
         
   
Mr Peter Newbery Mrs Kate Eden Mrs Sourayya Rossenkhan

Standard Five Teacher. Peter was schooled in Zimbabwe and has taught in Botswana for 10 years. He is an active sportsman who enjoys the outdoors, fishing and camping. Peter has done copy hoping and enjoys breakfast runs on a motorbike.

Standard Four Teacher. Kate loves animals and is an outdoor person who enjoys traveling,  camping and walking. Kate is a family orientated person who also enjoys scuba diving and squash. "Do it while you can".

French Teacher. Sourayya is from Mauritius. She enjoys traveling and loves the beach and eating seafood. She would like to visit Italy, Morocco and Vietnam.

         
   
Miss Margaret de Kock   Mrs Wilma Newbery   Mrs Celitia Melamu

Head of Mathematics and Standard Five Teacher. Margaret teaches Mathematics to Std 5, 6 and 7. Margaret enjoys running, swimming and cycling and hopes to complete a triathlon.

  Standard One Teacher. Wilma was born in South Africa and taught there for 16 years. She taught in the UK for a year.  Wilma has two children and enjoys gardening and cooking.  

Conversational Setswana Teacher. Celitia loves socialising with people of different callings, singing, cooking and reading. She has been a judge for several years for the BITF and is involved in a lot of Cultural Affairs.

         
   
Mrs Neo Kontle   Mrs Gail Lees   Miss Lou Dokakis

Setswana Teacher and "keeper of stationery stock". Neo is a netball and softball coach and is very involved in Traditional Dancing. Neo sings in the Gaborone Choral Choir and has visited New York in this capacity. She also enjoys counseling and helping needy people.

  Special Needs Teacher. Gail originally hails from Zimbabwe and enjoys travelling, reading, meeting people and finding out about their cultures. Her greatest desire is to return to her roots in Saint Helena. Gail is passionate about children and their quirks.  

Standard Four Teacher. Lou taught at Broadhurst from 1998 - 2005. She then went to Oman and taught in Muscat. Upon her return in 2007 she taught at an international school becoming familiar with PYP Methodology. Lou spent time in the UK in 2008 upgrading her knowledge on the De Bono Thinking Tools. She runs regularly and swims occasionally. Lou enjoys reading and doing decoupage and has bungee jumped in Australia. Lou believes that it is important to make the most of all opportunities presented to her and to always look for the positive in all that is done.

Standard Two Teacher. Vivienne is originally from Zambia. She has taught in Zambia and Botswana for several years. Vivienne enjoys reading thriller novels and listening to music. She occasionally writes short stories and poetry and keeps fit by doing aerobics.

  Physical Education Teacher. Tongai was born in Francistown but went to high school in Zimbabwe. He developed a passion for sport at an early age, which has taught him to be a good team player and never to give up. Tongai has taught at Thornhill Primary School, in South Africa and at the University of Botswana. Tongai enjoys working with children.  

Junior Coordinator and Reception Teacher. Angie  was born and grew up in Zimbabwe and studied at Rhodes. She enjoys reading, cooking, watching movies and pottering in the garden. Angies's dream is to travel around the world and visit places like the Great Wall of China, The Pyramids, Niagara Falls, The Statue of Liberty and The Leaning Tower of Pisa.

 

         
         
         

 

       
         
   
Mrs Cheryl Coetzer   Mr West Ntini   Miss Judith Boss

Reception Teacher. Cheryl started teaching 20 years ago and moved to Botswana in 2004. She moved with her family, husband and two teenagers (Daughter - Tegan and Son- Byron) to Dubai in 2007 and returned to Botswana 16 months later. Cheryl loves to scrapbook and curl up with a good 'Murder or thriller book' on the sofa.

  Standard Seven Teacher. West is a Motswana who is married to Sikhangezile. West and Sikhangezile have three children, Nomagugu, Thembelihle and Dumisani. West enjoys reading, travelling and listening to music. He has also specialised in teaching the hearing impaired.  

Physical Education Teacher. Judith has taught in Kenya and Botswana. Judith enjoys reading and is a sports fanatic, she especially enjoys soccer.

         
   
Mrs Jennifer Williams   Dr Rebecca Adekanmbi   Mrs Maria Muller
Active English Teacher. Jennifer has been in Botswana for four years. She has recently completed a course in Teaching English as a Second Language. Jennifer is a qualified Speech and Remedial Therapist and has worked in private practice in South Africa in these fields. She has three children.   Librarian. Rebecca obtained a PhD in Library and Information Studies from the University of Botswana. She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Portuguese. Rebecca taught at the All Saints Church School, in Nigeria as well as the Tlokweng Education Centre. She has also been involved at a consultancy level and has over 20 years experience as a professional Librarian. Rebecca is happily married, with four daughters.   Head of English and Std 6 Teacher. Maria originally hails from Zimbabwe. She has taught at Al-Nur and Thornhill. Maria is married to Larry and they have two daughters, Laken and Laurel. She loves traveling but absolutely loves shopping!

Setswana Teacher. Christine has experience as a Standard Five class teacher as well as a Setswana teacher. She is able to coach netball and softball (having previously coached the Southern Schools' Softball team) and loves sports and culture.

  Design and Technology Teacher. Ken studied in Scotland. He arrived in Botswana in 1983. He taught at Letlhakane Secondary School, was Deputy Headteacher at Orapa CJSS and Head at Mariba CJSS as well as Molongwa CJSS. While he was Headteacher at Mariba CJSS, the school won the first prize at the Southern District D & T Exhibitions for four years. Ken has also worked in the construction industry. He chaired the Round Table, in Orapa.   Computer Teacher. Shanthy is married and a mother of two. She is originally from Bahrain but moved to Indian. Shanthy has been in Botswana for 6 years. She loves singing and listening to music as well as watching movies, shopping and playing scrabble and badminton.

Standard Three Teacher. Terri has been teaching for almost 20 years, the last 5 and a half have been in Botswana. She has 3 children. Terri loves reading, scrapbooking and sewing. She enjoys camping, during the holidays, but misses her hairdryer in theses trips.        Active English Teacher. Meegan is originally from Zimbabwe but grew up in Botswana. She studied at the University of Johannesburg. Meegan enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with family

Music Teacher. Sam hails from the Luapula Province in Northern Zambia. He believes that teaching is a life long experience and is a calling with connections made through friendship.   Head of Science and Social Studies and Standard Seven Teacher. Mandeep has completed her Masters in Education and has taught on two continents for a total of 12 years. This, coupled with her reading psychology books, has broadened her horizons and equipped her have a good understanding of her pupils and of life. Mandeep loves teaching and is in this profession by choice, not chance.   Standard Three Teacher. Tony originally hails from New Zealand but has previously taught in the UK and in Botswana. Tony is passionate about traveling and would like to visit as many African Countries as possible.
         
     
Mrs Daisy Harman       Mrs Wanda Maré
Standard Two Teacher. Having studied at the University of Bristol and the Institute of Education, University of London, Daisy has taught at Primary schools in London and New Zealand. She moved to Botswana in 2010 with her husband and 2 daughters and they are all having lots of fun exploring Botswana and its neighbours, mostly from a small and rather uncomfortable tent.  Apart from family and travel, Daisy’s passions are cookery, books and photography.       Standard One Teacher. Wanda taught in South Africa for 21 years and 3 years in Zambia. She has two sons at University. Wanda's hobbies include scrapbooking, fabric painting, beadwork, mosaics and decoupage.

Receptionist. Lydia loves working with children. Their innocent faces brighten her day. Lydia likes gospel music and will soon release her first album. Lydia enjoys jokes, reading, singing and football. She always has a smile on her face, regardless of the challenges she is facing. Lydia is a Christian who has two children, Bright and Rethlbile.   Bursar. Gayathri was previously at Botlhale Primary School.She enjoys reading, writing and sports and has a special passion for Chess. Gayathri is married and has two children   PA and Admissions Officer. Thato started out as a hotelier and has worked as the Human Resources Systems Administrator at both the Grand Palm Hotel and the Gaborone Sun Hotel. She loves her job and enjoys cooking, traveling, even planning, socialising, interior decorating. Thato loves shoes, handbags and jewellery.
